On Singing The National Anthem, As A Lark, At A Minor League Baseball Game

Last night, I did one of the most fun things I’ve ever done.

I sang the National Anthem, by myself, without accompaniment, at a minor league baseball game.

Better still, my family was there.

My kids hung out with me on the field before the game, which pitted the single-A Lowell Spinners, a Red Sox farm club, against the Staten Island Yankees.

Why did I do it?
